Physiotherapy and Rehab at Thrive Point Chiropractic
Physiotherapy is a non-invasive method to address problems in the discs, joints, nerves, tendons, muscles, tendons, and ligaments. In addition, it works with sports injuries that may cause pain, weakness and stiffness.
Many people believe chiropractic care and physiotherapy are an either/or solution. In fact, the two work very well together! When used in conjunction with chiropractic, patients heal faster and more completely, and have better outcomes.o

Conditions We Help
In some cases, pain may come from a lack of strength in the muscles, or poor alignment and improper use of them. Physiotherapy helps patients restore strength, improve balance, and gain greater mobility and range of motion.
Some issues patients have seen improvement with include:
- Back and neck pain
- Shoulder, knee, or ankle pain
- Sports-related injuries
- Muscle injuries, ligament and tendon problems, sprains and soft tissue injuries
- Headaches and dizziness
- Arthritis in one or multiple joints
- Extremity problems
- Pre- and post-surgical strength and conditioning rehabilitation
Tools and Techniques
In our practice, we may use stretching and exercises, core strengthening, electrical stimulation, ultrasound, roller massage table, and soft tissue techniques, like trigger point therapy. The modalities Dr. G uses depend on the severity of the condition and the patient’s care plan.
Although physiotherapy sessions are an additional method of care, we schedule them with the regular visit. Usually done before chiropractic, Dr. G loosens tight muscles, allowing the adjustment to go deeper and hold longer.
Home Follow-up
Dr. G advises her patients to ice and drink lots of water when they return home.
As pain decreases, a home plan of stretches and exercises will be implemented.
